Luke 17
Instructions - Jesus Warns of Offenses
1Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
2It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
3Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
4And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
Faith and Duty
5And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
6And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
7But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?
8And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
9Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.
10So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
Ten Lepers Cleansed
11And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
12And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
13And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
14And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
15And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
16And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
18There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
19And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
The Coming of the Kingdom
20And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Second Coming Foretold
Every Eye Shall See Him - Revelation 1:7
22And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
23And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
24For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
25But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
26And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
31In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
32Remember Lot's wife.
33Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
34I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

Os tropeços – Mt 18.6; Mc 9.42
1Disse Jesus a seus discípulos: É impossível que não venham tropeços, mas ai daquele por quem vierem!
2Melhor lhe fora que se lhe pendurasse ao pescoço uma pedra de moinho e fosse lançado ao mar, do que fazer tropeçar um destes pequeninos.
Quantas vezes se deve perdoar a um irmão – Mt 18.21,22
3Tende cuidado de vós mesmos; se teu irmão pecar, repreende-o; e se ele se arrepender, perdoa-lhe.
4Mesmo se pecar contra ti sete vezes no dia, e sete vezes vier ter contigo, dizendo: Arrependo-me; tu lhe perdoarás.
5Disseram então os apóstolos ao Senhor: Aumenta-nos a fé.
6Respondeu o Senhor: Se tivésseis fé como um grão de mostarda, diríeis a esta amoreira: Desarraiga-te, e planta-te no mar; e ela vos obedeceria.
7Qual de vós, tendo um servo a lavrar ou a apascentar gado, lhe dirá, ao voltar ele do campo: chega-te já, e reclina-te à mesa?
8Não lhe dirá antes: Prepara-me a ceia, e cinge-te, e serve-me, até que eu tenha comido e bebido, e depois comerás tu e beberás?
9Porventura agradecerá ao servo, porque este fez o que lhe foi mandado?
10Assim também vós, quando fizerdes tudo o que vos for mandado, dizei: Somos servos inúteis; fizemos somente o que devíamos fazer.
A cura de dez leprosos
11E aconteceu que, indo ele a Jerusalém, passava pela divisa entre a Samária e a Galiléia.
12Ao entrar em certa aldeia, saíram-lhe ao encontro dez leprosos, os quais pararam de longe,
13e levantaram a voz, dizendo: Jesus, Mestre, tem compaixão de nós!
14Ele, logo que os viu, disse-lhes: Ide, e mostrai-vos aos sacerdotes. E aconteceu que, enquanto iam, ficaram limpos.
15Um deles, vendo que fora curado, voltou glorificando a Deus em alta voz;
16e prostrou-se com o rosto em terra aos pés de Jesus, dando-lhe graças; e este era samaritano.
17Perguntou, pois, Jesus: Não foram limpos os dez? E os nove, onde estão?
18Não se achou quem voltasse para dar glória a Deus, senão este estrangeiro?
19E disse-lhe: Levanta-te, e vai; a tua fé te salvou.
A vinda do reino de Deus
20Sendo Jesus interrogado pelos fariseus sobre quando viria o reino de Deus, respondeu-lhes: O reino de Deus não vem com aparência exterior;
21nem dirão: Ei-lo aqui! ou: Eí-lo ali! pois o reino de Deus está dentro de vós.
Todo o olho O verá - Apocalipse 1:7
22Então disse aos discípulos: Dias virão em que desejareis ver um dos dias do Filho do homem, e não o vereis.
23Dir-vos-ão: Ei-lo ali! ou: Ei-lo aqui! não vades, nem os sigais;
24pois, assim como o relâmpago, fuzilando em uma extremidade do céu, ilumina até a outra extremidade, assim será também o Filho do homem no seu dia.
25Mas primeiro é necessário que ele padeça muitas coisas, e que seja rejeitado por esta geração.
26Como aconteceu nos dias de Noé, assim também será nos dias do Filho do homem. 27Comiam, bebiam, casavam e davam-se em casamento, até o dia em que Noé entrou na arca, e veio o dilúvio e os destruiu a todos.
28Como também da mesma forma aconteceu nos dias de Ló: comiam, bebiam, compravam, vendiam, plantavam e edificavam;
29mas no dia em que Ló saiu de Sodoma choveu do céu fogo e enxofre, e os destruiu a todos;
30assim será no dia em que o Filho do homem se há de manifestar.
31Naquele dia, quem estiver no eirado, tendo os seus bens em casa, não desça para tirá-los; e, da mesma sorte, o que estiver no campo, não volte para trás.
32Lembrai-vos da mulher de Ló.
33Qualquer que procurar preservar a sua vida, perdê-la-á, e qualquer que a perder, conservá-la-á.
34Digo-vos: Naquela noite estarão dois numa cama; um será tomado, e o outro será deixado.
35Duas mulheres estarão juntas moendo; uma será tomada, e a outra será deixada.
36[Dois homens estarão no campo; um será tomado, e o outro será deixado.]
37Perguntaram-lhe: Onde, Senhor? E respondeu-lhes: Onde estiver o corpo, aí se ajuntarão também os abutres.

Ocasiones de caer - (Mt. 18.6-7,21-22; Mr. 9.42)
1 Dijo Jesús a sus discípulos: Imposible es que no vengan tropiezos; mas !!ay de aquel por quien vienen!
2 Mejor le fuera que se le atase al cuello una piedra de molino y se le arrojase al mar, que hacer tropezar a uno de estos pequeñitos.
3 Mirad por vosotros mismos. Si tu hermano pecare contra ti, repréndele; y si se arrepintiere, perdónale.
4 Y si siete veces al día pecare contra ti, y siete veces al día volviere a ti, diciendo: Me arrepiento; perdónale.
Auméntanos la fe
5 Dijeron los apóstoles al Señor: Auméntanos la fe.
6 Entonces el Señor dijo: Si tuvierais fe como un grano de mostaza, podríais decir a este sicómoro: Desarráigate, y plántate en el mar; y os obedecería.
El deber del siervo
7 ¿Quién de vosotros, teniendo un siervo que ara o apacienta ganado, al volver él del campo, luego le dice: Pasa, siéntate a la mesa?
8 ¿No le dice más bien: Prepárame la cena, cíñete, y sírveme hasta que haya comido y bebido; y después de esto, come y bebe tú?
9 ¿Acaso da gracias al siervo porque hizo lo que se le había mandado? Pienso que no.
10 Así también vosotros, cuando hayáis hecho todo lo que os ha sido ordenado, decid: Siervos inútiles somos, pues lo que debíamos hacer, hicimos.
Diez leprosos son limpiados
11 Yendo Jesús a Jerusalén, pasaba entre Samaria y Galilea.
12 Y al entrar en una aldea, le salieron al encuentro diez hombres leprosos, los cuales se pararon de lejos
13 y alzaron la voz, diciendo: !!Jesús, Maestro, ten misericordia de nosotros!
14 Cuando él los vio, les dijo: Id, mostraos a los sacerdotes. Y aconteció que mientras iban, fueron limpiados.
15 Entonces uno de ellos, viendo que había sido sanado, volvió, glorificando a Dios a gran voz,
16 y se postró rostro en tierra a sus pies, dándole gracias; y éste era samaritano.
17 Respondiendo Jesús, dijo: ¿No son diez los que fueron limpiados? Y los nueve, ¿dónde están?
18 ¿No hubo quien volviese y diese gloria a Dios sino este extranjero?
19 Y le dijo: Levántate, vete; tu fe te ha salvado.
La venida del Reino - (Mt. 24.23-28,36-41)
20 Preguntado por los fariseos, cuándo había de venir el reino de Dios, les respondió y dijo: El reino de Dios no vendrá con advertencia,
21 ni dirán: Helo aquí, o helo allí; porque he aquí el reino de Dios está entre vosotros.

22 Y dijo a sus discípulos: Tiempo vendrá cuando desearéis ver uno de los días del Hijo del Hombre, y no lo veréis.
23 Y os dirán: Helo aquí, o helo allí. No vayáis, ni los sigáis.
24 Porque como el relámpago que al fulgurar resplandece desde un extremo del cielo hasta el otro, así también será el Hijo del Hombre en su día.
25 Pero primero es necesario que padezca mucho, y sea desechado por esta generación.
26 Como fue en los días de Noé, así también será en los días del Hijo del Hombre.
27 Comían, bebían, se casaban y se daban en casamiento, hasta el día en que entró Noé en el arca, y vino el diluvio y los destruyó a todos.
28 Asimismo como sucedió en los días de Lot; comían, bebían, compraban, vendían, plantaban, edificaban;
29 mas el día en que Lot salió de Sodoma, llovió del cielo fuego y azufre, y los destruyó a todos.
30 Así será el día en que el Hijo del Hombre se manifieste.
31 En aquel día, el que esté en la azotea, y sus bienes en casa, no descienda a tomarlos; y el que en el campo, asimismo no vuelva atrás.
32 Acordaos de la mujer de Lot.
33 Todo el que procure salvar su vida, la perderá; y todo el que la pierda, la salvará.
34 Os digo que en aquella noche estarán dos en una cama; el uno será tomado, y el otro será dejado.
35 Dos mujeres estarán moliendo juntas; la una será tomada, y la otra dejada.
36 Dos estarán en el campo; el uno será tomado, y el otro dejado.
37 Y respondiendo, le dijeron: ¿Dónde, Señor? Él les dijo: Donde estuviere el cuerpo, allí se juntarán también las águilas.
